Ni201 Material Properties

N02201 pure nickel is a very important metal material. It has good strength and plasticity and has been widely used in the industry. It not only forms valuable alloys with other metals, but also pure nickel has good properties. Metal properties, used alone as a corrosion-resistant structural and functional material. In fact, pure nickel used as a corrosion-resistant structural material is a carbon-containing nickel-carbon alloy.
Nickel 201 is a low carbon version of Nickel 200. Due to its lower carbon content, Nickel 201 is less susceptible to embrittlement due to intergranular precipitation of carbon or graphite if exposed to temperatures of 315 - 760°C without prolonged contact with carbonaceous materials. Therefore, nickel 200 can be replaced in an environment higher than 315 °C. However, it is cleaved by sulfur-containing compounds at 315 °C, which can be counteracted by converting it into sulfate with sodium peroxide.
Nickel 201 electronic components, evaporators, ships pure nickel shows good corrosion resistance in many acidic and alkaline environments, and is mostly used in reducing media.
The main feature of nickel 201 is the corrosion resistance of alkaline media, such as caustic potash, caustic soda, etc., so it is used in the ionic membrane caustic soda process. Nickel has good corrosion resistance in dry fluorine compared to most alloys. Nickel has also been successfully used in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride from room temperature to 540°C. Can also be used in static solutions.
Nickel 201 has excellent mechanical properties and excellent properties, high thermal and electrical conductivity, low gas content and low vapor pressure. Nickel has good mechanical properties over a relatively wide temperature range, is easy to cold work, and has processing properties similar to low carbon steel.

Ni201 Material Application Fields

plate heat exchangers, bellows compensator expansion joints, alkali production, chemical equipment, etc.Electronic components, evaporators, boats.
