Inconel 601 Features
Inconel 601 is both high temperature and corrosion resistant. An important property of Inconel 601 is its excellent resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 1200°C, as well as high strength, ease of processing and resistance to water corrosion.
Inconel 601 has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature, very good carbonization resistance, good oxidation resistance in sulfur-containing atmosphere, good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, good stress corrosion cracking resistance due to Controlling the carbon content and grain size, 601 has a higher creep rupture strength, so it is recommended to use 601 in the field above 500 °C.
Inconel 601 Chemical Characteristics

Corrosion resistance of Inconel 601:
An important property of alloy 601 is its resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 1180°C. Due to its high chromium and aluminum content, 601 has good oxidation resistance in high temperature sulfur-containing atmospheres.
